Your People

There are just certain people who are meant to be in your life.

  •  Some might be there to teach you a lesson that your future self needs to know so that they may do other things.

  • Some might be to comfort you for a moment in time before moving on.

  • Some might be destined to connect and jive with you and your values and heart.

  • Some might be rejected over and repeatedly – until the universe just finally puts them in front of you with no way to avoid it. You might not even know why.

Since becoming an entrepreneur this has been an ongoing theme in my life and the collaboration with other people has been a powerful launching pad for the success I’ve achieved thus far.

Every day I find myself more and more grateful for those that surround me and lift me up.

It wasn’t always this way though.  For a long time, during my worst times, I felt like no one could help… like no one would ever love me in the ways that I loved them.

This was a perspective, shaded by the hues of experiences and misunderstanding.

When I set my values, and really decided that love, openness, and intention were going to be my #1 values, I began pouring love into others with an openness to not only giving love but also receiving.  My intentions were to allow myself to love and be loved.

This is what changed things for me.  My intention and energy were matched with people from all over the world who have become close friends.

The universe puts people in front of us.  People who need us, and people that we need.

When you learn this, and acknowledge how the universe works – you rise to another level of friendship and comradery with those around you.

Here are some suggestions on finding your people:

Join Relevant Communities: Look for online or offline communities that align with your interests, values, or professional goals. Participate actively in forums, social media groups, industry events, or local meetups to meet like-minded individuals. Engage in conversations, share insights, and build genuine connections with people who resonate with you.

Network Professionally: Attend conferences, seminars, workshops, or trade shows related to your field. These events provide valuable opportunities to network with professionals who share similar passions or career trajectories. Take part in panel discussions, workshops, or networking sessions, and make an effort to connect with attendees. Exchange contact information, follow up with personalized messages, and nurture those connections over time. Virtual options work well too!

Volunteer or Join Organizations: Engage in volunteer work or join organizations that support causes you care about. By dedicating your time and skills to meaningful projects, you'll not only make a positive impact but also come across individuals who share your values and interests. Collaborating with fellow volunteers or organization members can lead to deep connections and potential long-term relationships.
